西西里島?在哪啊?

這是小編瀛兒一聽到西西里島的反應XD (地裡不太好….)

        The hospitality of Tainan is always a great honor of Tainan. In 1996, there were 20 host families. In 1998, there were 52, and 72 in 2000. In 2004, there are 65 families applied for hosting families. However, only 48 families can won the opportunities since there sere not as many foreign groups coming. The hospitality of Tainan citizen is really impressive.

        All the host families were volunteered. They had made great efforts to show the best of Taiwan. They made friend with music and art. They took tem for sight seeing and prepared great Taiwanese food for them. It was very impressive. It also helped foreign visitors to experience the real life and local culture of Taiwan. The hospitality of Tainan county is a bridge of friendship. It is also a cradle for the exchange of international cultures. The culture of Tainan can thus be wider and deeper.

        “Standing in Taiwan and look over the world” is the theme of this event. Therefore, we also arranged performance in different local village including the new art center of Tainan such as “Siao-long cultural park”, “Zing-ye art center.” The arrangement will help local citizen to have a close experience with folk art. There is also a perfect combination of art and life.

     「立足本土，放眼國際」的國際民俗藝術節除了在主場地－烏山頭水庫風景區的演出之外，還特別安台至各鄉鎮表演，包含至台南縣的新興藝文中心：「蕭壟文化園區」、「總爺藝文中心」等場地演出，落實「藝術下鄉」的精神，方便各鄉鎮的民眾就近欣賞精彩的表演，將藝術與生活作完美的結合。

        To welcome the arrival of these foreign groups, the organizer also held a welcome party. There are celebrities, great music and food in the party to show a big welcome from Tainan citizen, The live band played Taiwanese folksong and music, the dancers also performed a traditional Taiwanese dance. Under the light music and touching dance, we could experience the enthusiasm and elegance of Tainan citizen.

2010 Nan Ying International Folklore Festival is going to happened on OCT. 9 to 17 in ShinYin, Tainan!

In 1996, the first Nan Ying International Folklore Festival was held by Tainan County Government under the instruction of Council for Cultural Affairs with a model of International Folklore Festival Association. It was the first time in Taiwan that a cultural activity held by local government. Many folk-art groups were invited at this event to realize the idea of “standing in Taiwan and look over the world.” The great event also led the citizen of Taiwan to an open world. They can enjoy the folk-art from different country without going abroad.

        “Nan Ying International Folklore Festival” will not only help the citizen to be open-minded, it will also have a chance to value traditional art. The participants will also have a chance to experience our culture. The interaction between participants and foreign team members will earn Taiwan with friendship. Our friendly host family will be impressive to the foreign friend as well.
