藝姿舞集
Yi Tzy Folk Dance Theatre
藝姿舞集創立於1996年，自1997年起獲邀參與國際民俗藝術節近兩百場演出，足跡已至英國、法國、西班牙、瑞士、義大利、梵蒂岡、比利時、荷蘭…等國家40餘個城市，深具民族特色精緻豐富的演出內容，屢獲國外媒體大幅報導，被德國Paderbrn選為「最受歡迎的團隊」，並被譽為「ㄧ支東方古老色彩無法可再比擬的寶島之光」和「身披歷史舞衣的台灣女兒」，更於2009年通過文建會育成計畫補助團隊。
今年，舞團再次受邀前往法國與義大利展開42天的巡演活動，除了再次將台灣文化展現在國際舞台，我們更衷心希望能將台灣文化的美好及海外的感動與國內民眾分享，此次演出內容為歷年於國外深受喜愛與肯定的樂舞，如〈迎暗藝〉、〈將巡〉、〈過年了〉、〈上元燈樂〉、〈行春〉等富含濃郁台灣民俗風情之舞作，歡迎大家前來感受這趟具有豐富精緻文化的藝術旅程。
Yi-Tzy Folk Dance Theatre was founded on February 1996. Christina Kuo was not only the founder, but also the Artistic Director of Yi-Tzy Folk Dance Theatre. She graduated from the Dance Department of Chinese Culture University, and the troupe members were also dance-majored professional dancers. Yi-Tzy Folk Dance Theatre was invited to attend at many overseas folk art performances, and became the representative of folk dance troupe in South Taiwan.
The troupe's performances mainly focused on Chinese cultural spirit and Taiwanese profound folk art nature, despite the performances were in the country or not, their performances successfully earned enthusiastic welcomes.
Since the foundation, Yi-Tzy devoted themselves to international cultural interchanges and spread Taiwanese art beauties. In order to make more people value Taiwanese folk art, except for the annual Yi-Tzy domestic tour show, they also attend art and culture activities which held by local government, such as "Art Blossom in Nan-Ying", and "Luerhmen Goddess's Temple Festival". Besides, the members also teach traditional dances in schools and put their beliefs in cultural and artistic dance heritage into practice.
Since 1997, the troupe was invited to attend more than two hundred international folk art festivals; they've been to England, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Vatican, Belgium and totally more than forty countries. Their characteristic folk performances were greatly reported by foreign media, and served several times as one of the major opening and ending performance troupes. They indeed achieve the dream of spreading Taiwanese culture and setting their foot on international stages.
"Reform the love for our homeland", and "Rebuild the images of Taiwan" are their ultimate goals. After attended several international performances, our leader Christina Kuo deeply realized the importance and the dignity of Taiwanese culture, and started to lead other members to research into Taiwanese culture. They eventually combined Taiwanese festivals and temple fairs with folk performances, and created brand new dances, such as "Carnival", "Festival", and "The Messengers of Buddhas".
In the future, Yi-Tzy Folk Dance Theatre will continually devote themselves to spread Taiwanese unique culture, and create more sophisticated Taiwanese folk dances.
